The best part? No HTML or CSS experience is required, so teams can concentrate on what matters most- driving event awareness and creating killer user experiences.
Introducing our Email Template Builder, an ideal solution for organizations who are looking to do more with email and are unable to use Pardot or Marketing Cloud.
This release represents another step we’ve taken towards streamlining event management and giving our customers the power to run in-person and virtual events entirely from Salesforce. We know data is gold and having visibility into all your customer interactions (registrations, attendance, campaign performance, new opportunities, paid transactions etc.) not only enriches your relationships, but the experiences you can offer.
Along with the data advantages that come with being a feature of the Blackthorn Events app, the Email Template Builder offers event managers the flexibility to:
- Choose from pre-built templates or create a custom design with our WYSIWG drag and drop editor. No coding knowledge needed.
- Incorporate video for dynamic content.
- Save templates for brand consistency.
- Upload images and logos in the file manager for quick access.
- Add merge tags to automatically pull details from event and attendee records.
- Send emails to targeted invite lists or individual attendees.
- Share pre and post email communications on social media.

How do I enable the Email Template Builder feature?
To get started, navigate to the Blackthorn Events Admin tab.
Click on Metadata Updates in the left hand column.
Select Create Email Templates.
A notification will appear when the default email templates have been loaded.
Navigate to your preferred event record. On the right hand side, you should now see a new section called “Email Templates.”
Select Email Templates, then click New in the right hand corner. You will be presented with the option to create a new email design or a new email from our templates.
Click continue and then start personalizing your email by dragging and dropping your desired features!
