The CT Paid Leave program provides income replacement benefits to people who have qualifying reasons. The organization is funded through a small contribution of 0.5% from worker paychecks, currently processed through Blackthorn Payments.

CHALLENGES:
  • Trouble processing the sheer volume of payments successfully
  • ACH transfers were being blocked, causing customers to be flagged and repeatedly blocked for all new payments.
SOLUTIONS:
  • Blackthorn Payments (+ Payments Community)
  • Collaborated with our partner Stripe to ensure ACH transfers were not blocked and customers experienced seamless transactions
